Jun Red Vase with the Shape of Lotus Seed ITEM#
VJ45914 Size:
7" x 7" x 12" Jun ware was one of the
famous wares of the Song dynasty, so it was imitated in all later
dynasties. Not until the Yongzheng reign was the imitation
successfully produced and further developed. The Jun red glaze is
a kind of high fired copper red glaze. The imitations made in the
Qing had the similar color to the original but the shape was unique
which was the feature of the Qing wares. |
