This vase has a flaring slender neck and a round belly supported by a ring foot. A hundred butterflies, dancing and flying in familly rose, are depicted in detail on the body. The decoration has a very strong visual impact. Familly rose is a type of pink enamel derived from the imported raw color pigment in the Yongzheng reigh. Arsenic is added to the color pigment, so the color turns into an elegant pink which shines with a fresh and delicate look.
